Matt is responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting department including policies and procedures, internal controls, financial and tax reporting, risk management, lender and equity relationships and reporting, budgeting, and financial projections and analysis.

Prior to his work at Terwilliger Pappas, Matt worked at CohnReznick, LLP and has over nine years of accounting experience in providing clients audit services. During his time in public accounting, his client base included investment funds, real estate developers, commercial real estate, and multifamily residential properties.

Matt is a graduate of Wake Forest University where he earned his BA in Accounting and MSA. He is a licensed CPA in the state of North Carolina and a member of the AICPA.
